I Am Light

Caritas Vocal Ensemble MD is delighted to partner with Mt. Hebron Presbyterian Church to present "I am Light" a Choral Celebration of Identities. This choral music concert will feature works from composers of various identities (both living and deceased). Songs performed will cover a range of genres and languages all touching on a theme of light, love, loss, and continually fighting for justice.Profits from this concert will be donated to the Luminus Network for New Americans.
Doors will open to the audience at 2:30pm.

Breaking the Chains: A Freedom Day Concert
Caritas Vocal Ensemble is collaborating with Christ Episopal Church to present "Breaking the Chains: A Freedom Concert." This choral music concert will feature works from Black/African American composers (both living and deceased). Pieces will be centered on themes of justice, freedom, and the ongoing fight for equality.
This is a free event with a suggested donation of $20 to benefit the Christ Episcopal Church music ministry and the Howard County Center for African American Culture.
